You should Expect Notch on the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 Lite

Huawei, China tech company, is planning on launching a second flagship smartphone this year. Early this year, the company releases its first flagship, the Huawei P20 series. The P20 is known to have three cameras at the back. Unlike the P20 series, the Mate 20 Lite, which certainly is a lower variant for the Mate 20 both to be launch on the same day, will be coming up with two rear cameras. A report from FCC revealed 20MP + 2MP for the rear cameras. Dual cameras are also expected for the front view and their sizes are 24MP + 2MP which is infinitesimally differ from that of the rear cameras.



FCC photo revealed so much about the Huawei Mate 20 Lite but do not reveal the design style for the smartphone. A source, however, has confirmed an interesting new design for the Mate 20 Lite. It claimed that, it will possess a notch at the top of the screen as part of the Mate 20 design. As in the P20 series, it is also likely that Huawei may give an option to black out the notch in the phone’s settings, but, this is not confirmed for now.

Its seems that all road leads to notch technology. A hand full of smartphone company is copying Samsung’s design style. But, they are all buying from Apple’s iPhone design. The One Trillion Dollar tech giant is having so much followers on these, despite the fact that they refuse to sell patent right of their mobile operating system to OEMs.

Apart from the notch, the Mate 20 Lite should be powered with Hisilicon Kirin 710 chipset underneath it, as well as, an Octa core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. Its should come with 6GB of RAM/ 64GB of ROM and a maximum of 256GB of external storage. When launched, the possible price for the phone may be 600 US Dollars.
