LG G8 ThinQ to Launched on 24 February and everything else I know

So much has been said regarding the LG G8 ThinQ which will replaced the LG G7 ThinQ. Out of all what has been said, only one thing is sure, the launch date! The Korean company will launch the G8 ThinQ 24th February at the MWC event to be held in Barcelona Spain.

For the rumors, however, there are grey areas that don’t worth talking of on the LG G8 but as well other top notch information that has been leaked.

The parts that aren’t interesting on the G8 ThinQ flagship is retaining notch design. Notch technology was stated by Android boss himself, in his first smartphone, Essential Phone, launched in the second quarter of 2017. However, the knowledge of it became more popular on the iPhone X, released that same here. The reason for a flagship smartphone with notch was to create a phone with full screen. A flagship smartphone without bezels! But the problem was how to place the selfie camera.

Other tech company excluding Samsung, follow the bandwagon in 2018 and made flagship phones with either the iPhone X or Essential notch design. Three tech company from China decided not to concur to a greater extent to the notch challenge. Oppo Find X runs a selfie camera which the user can raise up manually. Vivo in its flagship smartphone made its to have an elevated camera inbuilt which automatically raise up from within when a photo is to be taken.

Xiaomi came up with something different to solve the notch challenge in 2018. Though, similar to the Oppo Find X, the Mi Mix 3 was launched to have a flip. So, you can flip it up when you want to take photo, thereby avoiding the notch.

Not all fans of smartphones love notch technology, so, in 2019, big tech company have find a near perfect way to avoid notch smartphone. Samsung, actually came up with the best way to deal with it. In Samsung developer conference, the tech company introduces new display technology referred to as the infinity display. But for LG, the company may not actually leave the notch design this year and this many fans are not happy.

Though, this is a gray area but, two new features were rumored to come with the LG G8 ThinQ that may not be in any flagship smartphone this year. Sound-emiting display is one of those features on the LG G8 ThinQ which is available on LG’s Television. The second feature is the rumor that, there will be a second screen for the 6.1″ G8 ThinQ, this though, has been looked upon with doubt.
