Google may add a feature its Assistance for Face Match
Google may be planning on a new feature to its Assistant. This was stated in an APK teardown made available by Android Police. The new feature probably be called Face Match will scan your face to performed a particular command its detected from your face. The feature is similar to face match, where you tell the voice assistance to perform a particular task and it is done.
However, the Google Assistant’s Face Match is totally different from Face ID or Facial recognition used by smartphones for second layer of security. It is also different from the Face-ID expected on the Android Q.
It is not certain if the Face Match feature on the Google Assistant will see the light of day. Google I/o conference is slated for May, 2019 at California. If this feature will be fully developed it will be made clear to us.
